Delete specific data without removing your account

If you wish to delete specific data from your Cents account without deleting your entire account, you can submit a data deletion request. This allows you to maintain your account while removing selected information.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of specific types of data, including:

  • Uploaded documents (receipts, invoices, bank statements, PDFs)
  • Individual transactions or transaction history from specific time periods
  • Financial records for specific accounts
  • Saved goals or analytics data
  • Images or files stored within the app

How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To request deletion of specific data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@cents-app.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  3. In your email, clearly specify which data you would like to delete
  4. Include any relevant details (date ranges, transaction IDs, document names, etc.)
  5. Send the request from the email address associated with your Cents account

Processing Time

Data deletion requests will be processed within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Important Notes

  • Deleted data cannot be recovered, so please review your request carefully
  • Some data may be retained if legally required for compliance or regulatory purposes
  • If you want to delete all your data, consider submitting an Account Deletion Request instead
  • Your account will remain active after data deletion, and you can continue using the app
